The Fortnite Shattered live event takes place on June 5, 2026. As specified by the developers, doors open at 6:20 PM ET, with the event beginning at 7:00 PM ET.

Accordingly, you are advised to log in and join a match around 6:20 PM to avoid queue times. Once the event begins, matchmaking locks, and late arrivals may miss it entirely.

How to watch the Shattered live event

To watch the Fortnite Shattered live event, you are recommended to open the game and join a match around 6:20 PM ET. You will then be able to witness all the chaos breaking down. Keep in mind that Epic typically locks players out of the event lobby once doors close.

The event is expected to last between 15 and 30 minutes based on past Fortnite live events. After it concludes, the Chapter 7 Season 2 servers will go into maintenance as Epic prepares Chapter 7 Season 3 Runners for its launch the following day on June 6.
