Brand-new map

The latest update introduces a new map called Shattered Coast, which features remixes of Chapter 7's POIs. For example, the urban landscape of Battlewood has been replaced with the forested regions. However, you must keep in mind that not every location from the Season 2 map is being remixed into something new.

Sprites return to Fortnite

The Sprites return in Season 3 with major overhauls and new types. When you collect a Sprite, it gives you an ability depending on its type, helping you in-game. Additionally, you also have the option to bank them at various Extraction sites around the island to summon them at the start of a later match.
The more times you extract each type of Sprite, the more effective that type becomes in future matches.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass

The new Fortnite Battle Pass includes eight skins, with the major highlight being a cel-shaded redo of John Wick alongside his dog as a sidekick.
Purchasing the pass instantly unlocks The Guardian, which is a customisable mech suit driven by a Sprite. The pass also includes two remixed skins for Heatwave PJ and Vanguard Slone. It further includes the Voidblade, a rubber duck character named Cluster, and a soldier called Wolfe.
Players who buy the pass during the first week will immediately get their hands on the Gold Huntress style for the Dylan skin.

New weapons and movement items

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 introduces several new weapons and one new movement item. One major introduction is John Wick's Lancehead Pistol, which lets you throw the magazine when it is empty. The lineup also includes the Extending Focus Shotgun, Surgical Burst Rifle, and Chaos Exploder Rifle.
Speaking of the new movement item, the Seven Sliders, you can use it to blast enemies while sliding on your knees.

Fortnite Extraction Mode
