We are moments away from the start of the match, but before that, the players from both sides make their way out to the middle for their respective national anthems. I will be Ireland's first, followed by that of West Indies.

Pitch Report - Isobel Joyce is pitchside. She starts by saying that this is pitch number 3 and West Indies have already played a game on it and won. Further adds that there is a short boundary on one side of the square, and a long one on the other. Former Irish cricketer, Niall O'Brien says that the left-arm wrist spinner in the Windies ranks will be crucial and Ireland might have to employ the sweeps to good effect.  

Captain of Ireland Under-19  Olly Riley says that they would have bowled first anyway. Adds that the trend of the wickets in this tournament has been to do something at the top and then flatten up. Informs that they have also brought in a seamer in place spinner.

Skipper of West Indies Under-19 Joshua Dorne says that they will bat first. Reckons that the surface looks good and want to put runs on the board. Mentions that the pitch can get tricky in the second innings as well and is cherishing this moment to lead his side. Informs that they have one change in the team.
