Chasing 251 for victory, India A openers Yashasvi and

Sai Bharadwaj

gave their side a flying start with a century partnership. The duo tore into the rival attack as the scored at will. The partnership was finally broken by Varun Lavande who had Yashasvi caught by Arya Sethi. Yashasvi had scored 108 off 100 balls with 15 hits to the fence and two sixes. The openers had taken India A to 164 by then.

Shubhan Hedge got rid of Bhardwaj (60) when he had him caught by Saurav Dagar with the score reading 193. Jay Gohil (43) and Sameer Haseen Rizvi (38 no) ensured a comfortable win as India A scored 256 for three in 43 overs.

Earlier, India A had a bad start as Arya Sethi (4) was run out with nine on the board. Divyaansh Saxena and Pradosh Paul (24) took the score to 68 before the latter was run out. Varun Lavande (13) departed quickly but Divyaansh found an able partner in Kumar Kushagra (40) and the duo added 77 for the fourth wicket before Divyaansh fell for 89. Later Sourav Kumar Dagar hit a quickfire 51 (34b; 2x4, 5x6) to help India C reach 250 for seven.

In another match, Divyansh Joshi hit a half-century to help India B eke out a hard-fought two-wicket win over Nepal.

Divyansh spared India B's blushes with a responsible knock after India B were in a sport of bother at 69 for four. He scored 54 off 37 balls (4x4, 4x6).

Put into bat, Nepal had made 210 riding on opener and skipper Rit Gautam's 84 (93b; 12x4, 1x6). Divyansh had claimed three for 54.

Brief scores: Nepal U-19 210 in 49.5 overs (Rit Gautam 84, Hari Chauhan 20, Sher Malla 23; Divyansh Joshi 3/54, Atharva Ankolekar 2/12) lost to India U-19 B 211/8 in 46.3 overs (Sagar Dahiya 28, Harsh Jamwal 29, Kruthik Krishna 39, Divyansh Joshi 54, Nirmal Kumar 20no; Akash Chand 4/41, Sagar D 2/31).

India U-19 C 250/7 in 50 overs (Divyansh Saxena 89, Kumar K 40, Saurav D 51no, Pradyush P 24; Nitish Kumar Reddy 2/55) lost to India U-19 A 256/3 in 43 overs (Yashasvi Jaiswal 108, Sai Bharadwaj S 60, Jay Gohil 43, Sameer Rizwi 38no).
