After winning the toss, Bangladesh skipper Sumaiya Akter opted to field. Trisha scored a solid 52 runs off 47 balls at the top of the order, hitting five fours and two sixes. But the rest of the Indian batters found it difficult to score.

Trisha's efforts were crucial, as she held the innings together amidst a string of low scores from her teammates.

Without quick contributions from Mithila Vinod (17 runs off 12 balls) and Aayushi Shukla (10 from 13), India might have struggled to reach 117 runs for 7 in their 20 overs.

For Bangladesh, Farjana Easmin was the standout bowler, taking 4 wickets for 31 runs, while Nishita Akter Nishi claimed 2 for 23.

On the Indian side, Aayushi Shukla excelled with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 17 runs, complemented by Sonam Yadav (2/13), Parunika Sisodia (2/12), and VJ Joshitha (1/11).
