Billy Bowden's umpiring career spanned over two decades. He officiated in 84 Test matches between 2000 and 2015, 200 ODIs from 1995 to 2016, and 24 T20 Internationals between 2005 and 2016.
His experience wasn't limited to men's cricket — Bowden also stood in 1 Women’s Test (1995), 21 Women’s ODIs (1995–2021), and 25 Women’s T20Is (2009–2020).
