An associate member of the International Cricket Council since 1992, Namibia failed to qualify for the 50-Overs World Cup, finishing third in the qualifier playoffs they hosted in March this year.

The state team has been drawn from previous season’s senior, U-25 and U-19 squads.

The team is likely to be led by opener R Samarth and comprises senior batter KV Siddharth, youngsters Vishat Onat and Nikin Jose and the pace duo of Vyshak Vijaykumar and Vidwath Kaverappa. Although the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is yet to name the coaches for the season, PV Shashikanth, the senior team coach last season, will travel with the team to Namibia.

This is the second international exposure for the state team which won a limited overs home series against the USA team in March.

Team: Samarth R, Vishal Onat, Nikin Jose, KV Siddharth, Kishan Bidare, Kruthik Krishna, Shubhang Hegde, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Vidwath Kaverappa, Aneeshwar Gautam, Lochan Appanna, Chetan LR, Aditya Goyal, Rishi Boppanna;
