Isuru Udana to Quinton de Kock, PLAY AND A MISS! Ohh de Kock how irresponsible of you. The team needs you. Slower bouncer outside off from Udana, Quinton throws the kitchen sink at it and connects with just thin air. Lucky for him and Mumbai as he did not get an edge on it.

Washington Sundar to Rohit Sharma, OUT! CAUGHT! BANGALORE HAVE STRUCK GOLD HERE! It is the danger man, Hitman Rohit Sharma. Virat's plan of going with Washington Sundar pays the reward. Sundar tosses one up and into the pads of Rohit, Sharma goes for the pull and gets it off the middle. The ball though does not cross the fence and instead goes into the save hands of Pawan Negi at deep mid-wicket. Bangalore have won half the battle here. Skippers of both the sides get dismissed cheaply.

So the target for Mumbai is 202 in 20 overs. Can Mumbai chase it down to defy all odds and theories of the team batting first wins? Or will this total turn out to be a winning total for Bangalore? Don't go anywhere and do join us to find out as the chase is not far. Do join us on the other side of this short break for Mumbai's reply.

Mumbai started bowling with a plan but soon were proven as mere spectators as Finch went bang bang in the middle. Though they regrouped during the time out as they got their first breakthrough in the 9th over. Further, they did enough to pull the game back during the middle overs with the bowling of Rahul Chahar and the pacers. Rohit was brilliant in rotating his bowlers but as has been the case in this year's Indian T20 League the bowlers are taken to the cleaners during the last 5 overs and that norm continued as de Villiers and Shivam Dube took a toll of the Mumbai bowlers as they found the middle of the bat to perfection to send the ball soaring into the night sky and over the ropes. Bumrah was once again poor and James Pattinson too could not do what he did against Kolkata. Only Trent Boult and Rahul Chahar looked in control of their bowling as the duo shared the three wickets to fall in the Bangalore innings.

An Abraham Benjamin de Villier's special takes Bangalore to a total which is above par on this surface or maybe a winning one. Bangalore after being put in to bat started with Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal in the middle. Finch today was in a different mood as he brought out his brutal self to display. Playing all range of shorts in the Powerplay, though he was assisted by two dropped catches by the Mumbai fielders as he went onto smash a fifty of his own. He though soon departed after his half-ton as Padikkal continued to churn out runs in the middle. Kohli once again was sent packing cheaply as he chipped one in the air straight to Rohit Sharma. Then came Bangalore's crisis man who showed his 360-degree ability as he went onto cart the bowlers over the fence as per his will. Padikkal too departed after his fifty as ABD continued his game. In the end, Bangalore got enough on the board and for their bowlers to bowl at.
