And the India-Netherlands World Cup match witnessed the hilarious moment when former New Zealand wicketkeeper and commentator Ian Smith tickled his funny bone while commentating with Shastri.

Smith mimicked Shastri's mannerisms while performing the toss with the captains. This led to laughter not only from the former head coach of India Shastri himself but also from Anjum Chopra, who was present in the commentary box.

"Welcome to Bengaluru, Happy Diwali day to you all and now we shall have a toss of the coin. The all mighty Richie Richardson out in the middle. Now listen to me please everybody," Smith imitated.

Earlier, India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first against the Netherlands as they look to go unbeaten in the World Cup league stage.
