Unnati, who is BAI Rank-1 in girls singles (under-15) defeated Muskan Sangwan of Jhajjar with a score of 21-19, 21-16.

Parvesh Kumar
, coach of Unnati Hooda, said that the victory of
Rohtak girl
who hails from Chamaria village, becomes special as she gets to practice in government badminton centre. He said that Unnati has been playing badminton since she was eight years old and had many titles to her name.
Unnati Hooda of Rohtak had become first woman in the state to win a gold medal at the under-13 national sub-junior badminton championship held at Bhagalpur of Patna in November, 2019.
She had also secured bronze medal in mixed doubles in under 15 and 17 in sub-Junior nationals held in Bhubaneswar in 2019. Meanwhile, Pankaj and Anshul Budhwar of Rohtak also won silver and bronze respectively in 'Khelo Haryana' three days event.
