Shocking goof-ups on 'Koffee with Karan'

The fourth season of 'Koffee With Karan' has been full of dumb blonde moments by famous celebrities as it has been controversial. The new addition this time with the 'Koffee Quiz' segment where host Karan Johar quizzes his famous celebrity guests has given us some shocking moments. Leaving the controversies aside, here are some rather shocking goof-ups made by India's most well known Bollywood stars. Read on to know which ones.

Alia Bhatt- Alia Bhatt makes it to the top of the list. The petite Alia who plays an intelligent IIM Ahmedabad student in the film '2 States', isn't quite the straight A student in real life. No we haven't rummaged through the actress' high school report cards, but her stint on the 'Koffee With Karan' couch is proof enough. When Alia came on the show with contemporary Parineeti Chopra, she bobbled up yet again. When Karan asked the two ladies the full form of BJP, Parineeti promptly replied with Bhartiya Janta Party, while Alia did nothing else but sheepishly smile at Karan. We think its time to join some remedial classes Alia!

Alia Bhatt- Alia is a serious offender when it comes to this list that's why we are forced to include her twice. The first time Alia Bhatt made her debut on the show with her 'Student Of The Year' co-stars Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, she gave us quite a shocker concerning her general knowledge. When asked who the President of India is, Alia promptly replied with Prithviraj Chavan! Considering her father Mahesh Bhatt is so socially and politically active and speaks his mind on these issues, it is a shocker that beti Alia mixed up the Chief Minister of Maharashtra with the President of India.

Varun Dhawan- If we talk about shocking goof-ups on 'Koffee With Karan', then Alia Bhatt's co-star Varun Dhawan does not lag behind. Answering the same question on who the President of India is, Varun Dhawan's answer to the same was 'Manmohan Singh'! While Alia mixed up with Prithviraj Chavan, Varun Dhawan called the Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh, the President. Well, it seems the students NEED to go back to school and sit through compulsory GK lessons. While Varun's answer seems to have been blurted out in a hurry, we aren't sparing the 'Main Tera Hero' actor for this either.

Anushka Sharma- Anushka is the new torch bearer and has joined the league of celebrities with a questionable general knowledge on 'Koffee With Karan'. Host Karan Johar told Anushka Sharma that she just had an "Alia moment" on the show when she got the answer wrong for who the 'Chief Minister of Maharashtra is'. When asked who the Chief Minister of Maharashtra was, Anushka replied with "Ashok Chavan". Anushka had come on the show with Anurag Kashyap and while she blurted the wrong answer, the famous 'Gangs of Wasseypur' director remained silent throughout the question.

Sonam Kapoor- Last but not the least, fashion icon and Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is another victim of the Koffee Quiz segment of 'Koffee With Karan'. When she came on the show with her father Anil Kapoor, Sonam made us go red in the face with one of her answer. Sonam Kapoor also had a similar blonde moment when Karan asked to name the person who said "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind", Sonam Kapoor quickly responded with "Robert De Niro" while the correct answer was Mahatma Gandhi! This one maybe tops the list of the shocking goof-ups on 'Koffee With Karan'.
