Eagles are enormous, big-footed, beaked birds of prey that belong to the Accipitridae family (order Accipitriformes). A bald eagle is monogamous. They use the same nest every year and mate for life. The chicks take a while to mature; by the third or fourth year, they have adult plumage. Eagles can be found in many different kinds of habitats. Bald and golden eagles are common throughout North America.

Earthworm

In addition to eating decomposing plants and other creatures, earthworms also consume a lot of dirt, sand, and small pebbles. An earthworm is thought to consume and expel its own weight in food and soil each day. Earthworms are any of the more than 1,800 species of terrestrial worms belonging to the phylum Annelida (class Oligochaeta), with members of the genus Lumbricus being the most common.

Earthworms can be found almost everywhere in the world where there is enough moisture and organic matter to support them.

They have modified hairs covering their 35–75 cm length. They are not violent, but when they feel threatened, they ball up. Echidnas use their electroreceptors to sense electrical signals while they forage for ants and termites on the ground. They use their sticky tongue and claws to dig out their prey.
