On Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the evening, PM Modi inaugurated the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) temple, which is famous as the first Hindu temple in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

1. The temple is located in Abu Mureikhah, near Al Rahba off the Dubai- Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway.
2. The architectural marvel of this temple shows the harmony between the two different traditions, beliefs and countries.
3. The temple is 108 feet and spread over 27 acres of land.
4. No concrete and no steel is used in the making of this temple.
5. The intricate carvings, symbolic domes, seven emirates, and spires that explains the tales from Hindu Scriptures shows makes it unique and different.
6. The selection of materials, including marble from Italy and pink sandstone from northern Rajasthan, was used in the building to ensure sustainability and endurance in the face of high temperatures.
7. The temple has visitor's centre, prayer halls, library, classroom, playground, garden and shops for the people.
8. The constructions of the BAPS temple was started in the year 2019.
