Badrinath Yatra 2023: Opening Ceremony Badrinath temple is located in Garhwal hills in chamoli district near the banks of Alaknanda. The temple is at an altitude of 10,200 feet above sea level. The temple is nearly 45 km from Joshimath.
The opening date and time of the temple doors was decided as per the Hindu Panchang on the auspicious day of Basant Panchami. The announcement is made from the royal court of Tehri Naresh located in Narendra Nagar. The temple will remain open for another 6 months till November mid.
