Lathmar Holi (Barsana & Nandgaon):

This is also a unique type of Holi celebration that happens only in Braj. In this women playfully hit men with the sticks and men protects them with a protective shield.

Phoolon Wali Holi (Vrindavan):

This is mainly celebrated in Vrindavan where people play holi with flowers and flower petals but not with colors.

Widow Holi (Vrindavan):

This is specially for the widows where they play holi after a long isolation. They take part in the festivities and smash colors to celebrate the holi. This breaks the old customs where it is believed that widows can't play holi with colors.

Rangbharni Ekadashi:

This is an important day when Lord Krishna is offered gulal at the temple.

Holika Dahan:
