Mary Kom's silver medal bout, P N Senior, an Indian boxing fanatic told us how he was asked to shell out nine times for an already expensive premium ticket.
"I was asked to pay £900 by a ticket holder for a ticket costing around £100. I will have no option to give this historic event a miss and cheer for her at home like fellow countrymen," he sighed.
Black marketers are making a killing in the ongoing Olympics with some of the marquee events like Michael Phelps final race tickets being sold for about $10,000 each. British media had already warned of such a scenario and even carried stories of black marketing emerging as well planned billion dollar operation and one of the major concerns to be addressed by organisers.
These concerns are now being openly voiced by fans from all over the globe whole have descended in London to watch Olympics but are not able to make it to stadiums due to lack of tickets while the world has watched 'sold out' events run with vacant seats.
