Ekta Kapoor has established herself as a successful TV show producer and also has a history of making popular reality shows. This time the TV Czarina and filmmaker will reportedly be producing Nach Baliye 7. However there is more to her participation in it, as according to a Mid-day report, Ekta Kapoor has been sharing several creative ideas with the team and she may also be a part of the judge's panel in the capacity of a 'maha-judge.' It would indeed be interesting to watch Ekta Kapoor taking to task all the popular couples.

Nach Baliye has undergone a change in its format and will have a hint of Bigg Boss to it. All the couples, who are participating in Nach Baliye 7, will stay away from their home while being a part of the show. Apparently this idea has been introduced by producer Ekta Kapoor, stated a Bombay Times report. The tagline '#TooMuch' will be justified when all the contestants will have to perform different tasks through the weeks with no contact with family members, stated the report.

Preity Zinta will be judging the reality show, Nach Baliye 7. All set to face the camera all over again, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Preity Zinta said, "It's more than just dance, the show is about compatibility between couples. I remember, once I was angry with my co-star and thus couldn't get a scene right. I either put my heart into it or I'm just not there." According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Priyanka Chopra was approached to be a judge on the show since Shilpa Shetty was no longer a part of Nach Baliye. The report stated that due to her international commitments, PC could not give a nod to the show.

In a quirky combination of judges, Chetan Bhagat too has been roped in to judge the dance reality show, Nach Baliye 7. The excited newly-minted judge had taken to social networking site, Facebook, to express his enthusiasm, "Well, I am no dance expert! However, the show format has changed and apart from dance, there will be a lot of emphasis on couple chemistry, compatibility and team work. I will be focusing more on the latter parts. Also, as a motivation speaker, I hope I will be able to inspire the participants as well. Yes, it is a risk. It could really work or I could end up making a fool of myself. And that is a little scary. However, in almost all my talks, I tell people to take risks. If I don't do the same myself, I won't be being true to my word." [sic] Seems like Chetan Bhagat is going to play the motivational speaker on the show, which is just what the couples will need.

Out of the interesting line-up of contestants for Nach Baliye 7, Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel come fresh from the reality show, Bigg Boss 8. The couple had an interesting chemistry while in the Bigg Boss house and now outside too they post pictures of their private moments on social networking sites. According to reports they are the hottest jodi this season and are getting paid a huge fee. The duo already have a huge fan following and it seems like their dance moves too will add largely to the TVTs of the show.

With the new season of Nach Baliye the hosts too have been replaced. Karan Wahi and Gautam Rode were hosts of the sixth season, but Nach Baliye 7 will see Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Patel as co-hosts of the dance reality show. Speaking to IANS, Rithvik was quoted as saying that, "I'm extremely excited to be hosting 'Nach Baliye,' as this year it's not just dancing it's too much! Since I was the winner last year, I have a fair idea of what a dancing quest looks like, so yes, I hope to do justice to the job at hand." Karan Patel, who is close to producer Ekta Kapoor, too had participated in the third leg of the season.
