smartphone company co-founded by former
Apple India
executive Sharad Mahotra, has launched its first two
Android
smartphones - Buzz and Storm, in the country.
Hyve Buzz
has a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a new ‘Touch2Call’ feature, which lets you quickly call contacts mapped to your fingerprints through the fingerprint sensor at the back. The device is also water resistant and comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter.
Powered by an octa-core
MediaTek
processor, the phone comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, with a planned upgrade to Marshmallow The 4G capable Hyve Buzz is priced at Rs 13,999.
As for the Hyve Storm, it sports a 5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution. The
phone has a 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus, as well as a 5MP front-facing snapper. Hyve Storm is 4G enabled and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD cards of up to 64GB in size. It’s priced at Rs 8,499.
