The most well-known myth associated with Bhangarh Fort centres around Princess Ratnavati and a black magician named Singhia. Legend has it that Singhia, a black magician, fell in love with the lovely princess and tried to use a magical elixir to make her fall in love. But the sorcerer was crushed to death when Ratnavati saw through his ruse and hurled the potion upon a boulder. Singhia cursed Bhangarh before passing away, bringing about its devastation. Mysterious happenings and paranormal experiences
Bhangarh Fort is so infamous for its paranormal activities that the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had to put a board at the entrance, to warn visitors not to enter the fort after sunset. While some people perceive sudden drops in body temperature and an invisible presence, others report feeling a crippling sensation of panic.
