Asian destinations Indian passport holders can visit using a valid US visa

For Indian passport holders, possessing a valid U.S. visa can significantly enhance travel opportunities, granting access to several countries across Asia without the need for an additional visa. Make sure that your U.S. visa is valid for at least six months beyond your intended date of entry into the destination country. Some countries may need to see prior use of the U.S. Visa. Travellers should be prepared to provide proof of onward travel, sufficient funds, and confirmed accommodation as part of the entry requirements and regulations. Here are some Asian destinations Indian passport holders can visit using a valid US visa.

2/7

Philippines

Indian nationals can enter the Philippines without a visa for a non-extendible and non-convertible period of 14 days for tourism purposes. To this to happen, travellers must present a passport valid for at least six months beyond the contemplated stay, confirmed hotel accommodation or booking, proof of financial capacity, and a return or onward ticket to the next country of destination. Additionally, Indian nationals holding valid visas or residence permits from the United States, Australia, Canada, Schengen countries, Singapore, or the United Kingdom are eligible for a 30-day visa-free stay.

3/7

Singapore

Indian passport holders with a valid U.S. visa may be eligible for the Singapore Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF). This facility allows travellers to transit through Singapore without a visa for up to 96 hours, provided they meet specific conditions. These conditions include holding a valid U.S. visa, arriving and departing on the same flight, and possessing a confirmed onward ticket to a third country. It's important to note that this facility is applicable only for transit purposes and not for tourism or other activities.

4/7

Taiwan

Indian nationals holding a valid U.S. visa may apply for the Republic of China (ROC) Travel Authorisation Certificate, which gives entry into Taiwan. This is primarily for business or official visits. The Travel Authorisation Certificate is not required for tourism purposes. Applicants must possess an ordinary, official, or diplomatic passport with validity of at least six months as of the date of intended entry into Taiwan.

Indian nationals are granted a tourist visa upon arrival for stays up to 30 days. It’s a visa-free entry for the 30-day duration. A Customs Declaration must be submitted within 96 hours prior to travel via the government IMUGA site. Travellers must possess a passport valid for at least one month beyond the date of arrival, confirmed hotel accommodation, return or onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay.

Mongolia

Indian passport holders, if they have a valid US visa, can enter Mongolia without a visa for stays of up to 30 days.
