Immediately after she won a bronze medal in wrestling at Rio Olympics, entering her name in history books, there were reports about Sakshi Malik getting married to fellow wrestler, Satyawart Kadian. Sakshi’s mother, however, denied the reports soon enough. But when we contacted Sakshi about her impending wedding, she admitted: “It is true that Satyawart and I are getting married, but there is time for that. Of course, the family elders will take a joint call on wedding dates but it will not happen in a hurry. One thing is for sure that I will not quit wrestling after marriage. In fact, my resolution to take my game to another level has been strengthened more than ever now.”
