Traffic jams in metro cities is a common phenomenon but can you believe that there can be traffic jam on the world’s tallest mountain? There was a long queue of about 320 people at the peak waiting to reach the summit and click a photograph. A mountaineer shared the picture on Instagram and the shocking picture is going viral. What’s more alarming is that two of the mountaineers also died amidst the madness.
Nirmal Purja, a Guinness record holder and a renowned mountaineer, shared a picture that made the netizens go crazy. Expecting such a huge turnout on the world’s tallest mountain is unbelievable. See the picture here:



He wrote:
On 22nd of May, I summited everest at 5:30 am and lhotse 3:45 pm despite of the heavy traffic ( roughly 320 people ).
Today I have just arrived at the Makalu base camp, I will be going for the summit push from the base camp directly. Like it, tag it and share it if you love how the project possible 14/7 is rolling ����

The summit was so overcrowded that it lead to a few deaths, out of which two mountaineers were Indians. According to the reports, Kalpana Das, 52, who reached the summit died while descending, as there was a long que of climbers queued near the top of Mount Everest. Another mountaineer was a 27-year-old man who died because of exhaustion as he was stuck in the traffic for more than 12 hours.
