Neel and the lightbulbs, the band which has been an inspiration to many young musicians in town, performed at Jamsteady on Friday. They are about to take a break from performances, so this was their last gig for the time being, and thus they named it — The last upper (to rhyme it with The Last Supper). They played originals such as Rewind, Knowing who we are, Big mistake and Mr Coolio.
As the night grew younger, the crowd started turning up in droves and cheered for Neel Adhikari, while he played a few crowd-favourites from their playlist. We spotted actress Rii having a good time at the do. She said, “It’s always special when Neel and the lightbulbs and Jamsteady unite. It becomes a house party. There is so much music to celebrate.”
