Things blocking happiness

Homes carry energy. Be it the happiness of our childhood days, to the achievements in our adult lives, the home has seen it all, absorbed the energy that the people radiated, and the energies have always helped us feel right. These energies, both positive and negative, have an effect on our state of mind, health, relationships, and even our ability to flourish and prosper in life.
But, there are certain things that we hold on to that block the path to prosperity. Here we mention some of them.

2/7

Old, torn clothes

One of the most common things that obstruct your path towards prosperity are the old, torn clothes that are rotting away in your closet. It is believed that these old clothes that cannot be used or worn anymore but are still not thrown away are a symbol of stagnation and a reluctance on the part of the person to let go of things that no longer benefit them. And so, it is best to not hoard such items and let the clutter go away.

3/7

The junk and garbage on the terrace

The terrace is also a part of the home, but a bad habit among people is to dump any junk and garbage into the terrace, thinking it will be away from the home. And as people have been treating the terrace like a storage area for junk, unused items, or even garbage, this habit has been disrupting the energy flow of the whole house. It contributes to chaos within the household and as the energies get disrupted it hinders the path of prosperity and abundance.

4/7

There is clutter all over

Clutter is one of the most common reasons that block prosperity. Be it scattered papers that are piled up in an old box, unused furniture that is torn from places, overflowing shelves with books or flowers, or even clutter of clothes and bags, it all contributes to suffocation within the place. This clutter also obstructs the natural energy flow in a space, creating stagnation. And so, it is best to throw away any excess clutter as soon as possible so that the energies have a flow of positivity which will invite prosperity into the home.

5/7

Dead plants and flowers

Plants and flowers bring life to a space. They add a pop of colour to the terrace and balconies, they fill the home with a sweet fragrance, and they just add positivity to the home. And when these plants are neglected and they die, it just causes a sense of sadness within the home. When the flowers wilt, and the leaves start to blacken, the plant eventually dies which results in one less life form in the home. And within the home there are symbols of decay and stagnation which disrupt the natural flow of energy and positivity.

6/7

Disturbing artwork

Art has always influenced humans. From the early cave paintings, to the art by famous painters, it is all important to humans for it gave them inspiration and aesthetics. The images, the forms, the colours, and much more can uplift people’s spirits. But, there are also paintings that are disturbing and harrowing to look at. Paintings of suffering, horrors of war, poverty, and the likes are usually not hung up in the home as they invite sadness and negativity into the household. And so, when disturbing paintings are hung up on the wall they weigh down the energies around the house and in turn block the path of sundance, happiness, and prosperity.

7/7

Placing the mirrors in wrong directions

The right directions for things have always been very important in Vastu and Feng shui rituals. There is a right direction for sleeping, a right hand for eating, a right direction to keep the money in, and much more. But one of the most important parts is the placement of mirrors inside the house. Why?
Well, mirrors are considered to be portals of energies, and keeping them in the wrong directions can mess with the energy placement of the home. It is said that keeping mirrors in front of each other, or in the wrong direction can disrupt the flow of energy in a home.
