Here's what the top Indian CEOs are making

Ever wondered how much the top CEOs earn? Well, we have got our hands on some reports on the internet that have shared the salary of top CEOs in India, including Airtel, HDFC Bank, Jindal Group, Wipro, HCL, TATA Group, Hero Motocorp, Tech Mahindra, among other big names. TATA Group CEO Natarajan Chandrasekaran

He is now the former CEO but he was voted as the Best CEO for 5 years by Institutional Investor’s Annual All-Asia Executive Team. As per Financial Year 2019, he received a whopping package of 65 crores. He was the first Non Parsi to head the TATA group.

Hero Motocorp CEO PawanMunjal

The alumni of NIT, Kurukshetra was ranked among the 40 most powerful Indians of 2017 according to a report by India Today. His salary is said to be around Rs 85.59 crores.

Infosys CEO Salil S Parekh

Parekh, who heads the $10 billion IT firm, has passed out from IIT Bombay in Aeronautical Engineering. He has also done a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. His salary is said to be Rs 49.68 crores.

Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal

Vittal has been in and out of the telecom giant several times. He is an IIM Calcutta alumni and has played a huge role in Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), especially ‘Project Bharat’. His salary as per reports is Rs 25.41 crores.

Tech Mahindra CEO CP Gurnani

Gurnani is the MD & CEO of Tech Mahindra and he was also the E&Y ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’, and CNBC Asia’s ‘India Business Leader of the Year’ in 2013. He is said to earn Rs 22 crores as per the Financial Year of 2021.

Jindal Group CEO Naveen Jindal

Jindal is also an industrialist and MP in the 14th and 15th Lok Sabha. He has also captained the Indian Shooting Team to a silver medal in South Asian Federation Games, in 2004. His salary was last reported to be more than Rs 144 crore in 2021.

Dr Lal Pathlabs CEO Om Prakash Manchanda

He has been with the company since 2005 and he was also a part of the company responsible for Ranbaxy’s venture into the healthcare division. He has done his PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad. Manchanda’s salary according to reports is more than Rs 33.20 crore.

DLF Limited CEO Mohit Gujral

Gujral, who is an architect, is the Co-CEO of DLF Limited since August 2015. He is the man behind DLF Emporio, DLF Promenade, and Cyber Greens at Gurgaon. His salary is reported to be Rs 15.20 crore.

Bajaj Auto CEO Rajiv Bajaj

Rajiv took the position in 2005 and he is the one responsible for introducing the Pulsar range of motorcycles. In 2020, he is said to receive INR 39.86 Crore as his salary.

ITC Limited CEO Sanjiv Puri

Puri has been incharge since 2015. He has passed out from IIT Kanpur and currently, his salary is Rs 11.95 crore.
