Wedding photographers share tell-tale signs of a marriage that won't last

​What photographers say…

<p>Wedding photographers and videographers spend quite some time with couples while documenting their wedding. As they are primarily looking after capturing candid moments from the wedding, they get an easy sneak peek into the couple and their chemistry. While the photographers are no experts to predict whether the relationship will go the distance or not, but here are some signs they believe spell danger for the longetivity of the relationship…<br></p>

​When one partner does not bother about the other’s comfort

<p>“I have seen couples who are totally out of sync during their photoshoot. Sometimes, the bride is too obsessed with her clothes, make-up and jewellery, and does not bother about the comfort of the bridegroom. Once, we had an outdoor shoot and the bride had got five dresses for the entire day. The groom kept waiting for hours in the harsh sunlight for her to change and get back to shoot, but she was unaffected.”<br></p>

​When they are simply not compatible

<p>“I have seen couples that are pretty bad combos in terms of nature. For instance, sometimes the bride is too short tempered and groom is impatient by nature. Or, the groom is an extrovert, down-to-earth guy and the bride has a lot of attitude. Ergo, it becomes a task for them to spend even a few hours together. They end up arguing and passing lewd comments on each other.”<br></p>

He openly pulled down the girl's family

“Like every other wedding, the bride’s sisters had taken away the groom’s shoes at the entrance. People generally take this ritual on a light note but this family took it on their ego. In fact, they refused to enter the venue without the groom wearing his shoes. The bride’s side was embarrassed and eventually had to oblige. The fact that the groom also took it so seriously made the whole wedding mood sombre. Later, we noticed the couple having a low-pitched argument on the stage, just before exchanging garlands.”

​When they are not in love

<p>“It’s pretty evident during the shoot when the couple is not in love. Last year, we shot with a couple who were not even comfortable holding hands. In fact, they were not even willing to look into each-other’s eyes and were busy on their cell phones. A few weeks back, we heard the news that their marriage is going through a rough patch.”<br></p>

​The cake-cutting ceremony

<p>“A couple from a filthy rich business-class family had a cake cutting in their engagement. They fed the cake to all the near and dear ones, except each other. A few weeks later, the family told us that the wedding has been called off.”<br></p>

​When they fight over pointless issues

<p>“I actually shot with a couple who fought on the day of their shoot on whether getting married was the right decision or not. It was a task to make them look happy in the photographs, even though they tried their level best to be animated in front of the camera.”<br></p>

​It’s sometimes a shocker

<p>“We met a very sweet couple whom we thought were crazy in love. They were smiling and blushing throughout the shoot, and could not keep their hands off each other.
