Lifestyle plays a much more important role than many imagine. Some dogs are more suited to being indoors, whereas others are better suited to being outdoors. Dogs that are more suited to being indoors may require moderate exercise, may have a calm temperament, and may adjust easily to being indoors. They may also enjoy being near their owners and being indoors as opposed to outdoors, especially in smaller homes or apartments where space is limited but companionship and comfort matter most.

Collie

Collies are medium to large-sized dogs that are known for their intelligence and loyalty. While Collies are certainly too large for indoor living, they have the ability to make very good house pets.
As herders, Collies are certainly active dogs who need exercise and mental stimulation on a regular basis. A daily walk and some time spent outside are a great way to keep a Collie healthy and happy.
