Ways to rekindle spark in your marriage

The spark in a marriage doesn’t last long unless you and your partner put efforts into keeping the spark alive. Among the hoards of responsibilities and burdens, marriage can become very monotonous, resulting in a lack of romance and passion. This further leads to issues in the marriage which at times, can be unrepairable. To help you bring the passion back once again, here listed are the best ways to rekindle spark in your precious marital bond.

2/6

Date nights

No matter how busy you get, always take out time for date nights. Book a table at a good restaurant and ask your partner to dress up for the occasion. This doesn’t have to be for everyday, but every once in a while, planning a surprise date can gear you both up for a night of passion ahead.

3/6

Groom together

The daily hustle and bustle can make you both tired and stressed with all the work. And so, a spa session would do great. What’s best is a couple’s spa session where there can be head and body massages, manicures, pedicures etc. You both can even opt for at-home grooming where you both can massage each other, along with the aroma of scented candles filling the room.

4/6

Listen to your partner

As you progress into your marriage further, the urge to always speak up your mind increases. Even though this is a good sign, it’s not always wise to keep talking when all your partner does is listen. If they have been trying hard to talk to you, just keep quiet and listen to what they are saying. And, don’t criticise them with what they have to say because it will only set them back.

5/6

Meditation

Meditation together is a great way to get in touch with each other’s spiritual side. When romance and passion is lost in marriage, the best way is to build a strong connection and what better way is there than to connect spiritually?

6/6

Short, spontaneous trips

If the work life has endlessly tired you both, then it’s only right that a weekend trip be on the cards soon. You can also turn it into a ‘sex-cation’ where you book a hotel for the weekend and take all the time to make up for the long-awaited sex.
