Take a look at these useful tips

As a young person plans to start a family, the hunt for a house begins. Looking for a home is a beautiful journey; moving in together is a huge life transition for young couples, and could be extremely intriguing and terrifying at the same time. This transition presents a unique set of challenges that can be handled smartly by applying the basics of Vastu. Vastu Shastra is a science of architecture that when applied accurately can help you lead a prosperous, healthier and happier life. Vastu has the potential to make or break relationships. Here are a few Vastu tips for your new abode to make a smoother transition in your relationship.

2/6

Bedrooms in the North-East direction

Make sure you avoid having a bedroom in the exact North-East direction of the house, because it attracts negative energy. To help you understand better, here is an example of a couple, Mr and Mrs Dharmesh, who have faced similar problems. Theirs was an arranged marriage. From the beginning, they had a difference in opinion and after leading to arguments and serious quarrels, the situation got so intense that in a normal scenario their relationship would have ended. However, the irony of the situation is that one would not be able to separate while living in this bedroom.

3/6

Radha-Krishna photograph in the bedroom

Never keep a Radha Krishna photograph in the bedroom. The inconclusive love story of Radha Krishna might not be the best source of energy one wants in their relationship. Having one might result in fights or extramarital affairs or attract a sudden stop to a relationship as well.

4/6

Pictures of idols of Gods and Goddesses in the bedroom

Don’t place symbols of Gods and Goddesses in the bedroom. Neutral spaces such as the living area, dining area etc. are the preferred spaces to place religious symbols. The energies of religious symbols and bedrooms are often conflicting, resulting in a toxic environment.

5/6

Placement of plants

Don’t place plants in the South West direction of the house. Plants are a beautiful addition to homes. Placing plants in the south west direction of a home since it usually gets the most sunlight might not be the best choice. This often leads to a lot of disagreements and quarrels within the family members of the house.

To help you understand better, here’s the case of Mrs. Singh was facing constant family quarrels for the past 5 years. She then removed plants from her South West Balcony which fortunately reduced fights exponentially within a month.

6/6

Placement of photographs and albums

Photographs can be hung in the south west direction of the house to avoid relationship issues. It is important that they are placed in the right direction of the house to release positivity. Photographs capture blissful and sweet moments of one's life.
