Being surrounded by negative emotions will slowly destroy you

Being surrounded by gloomy and hurtful thoughts are enough to throw you in the deep trenches of depression and anxiety. Our state of mind plays an essential role in determining how we fare in life; situations, decisions, people etc. all contribute to our state of mind. And amidst this, if rejection, loneliness creep into our mind, negative thoughts begin ruling our entire body and soul. Certain feelings are also highly negative, contrary to what you believe. Here are some types of negativity you should avoid at all costs.

2/6

Perfection

Attaining perfection is a common aspiration but when the thought of becoming perfect becomes your only goal, it can become toxic. Trying to prove that you’re perfect and flawless will take you on a harrowing journey of self-doubts, low confidence and insecurity. You will constantly feel that you’re less than perfect.

3/6

Judgements

Judging others, their actions and opinions aren’t going to make you look superior. Instead, you will find yourself in a constant loop of gossips and negative criticism. Focusing on others’ negative qualities is also going to bring you down.

4/6

Control

Manipulation and control is not power. It’s fear. The faster you accept it, the more positive you will be. You shouldn’t control others because, in the process, you eventually lose control of yourself. And when that happens, you will spiral down into failure.

5/6

Worries

You may be concerned and that’s alright but twitching your eyebrows and worrying too much will only contribute to deteriorating your current state of mind. If things are meant to be, they will eventually fall into place. If you have to work hard to get something, do it. But worrying amidst it is not going to help you grab success.

6/6

Assuming the worst

Sometimes people have no control over what they think. Some end up anticipating the worst outcome of a situation that hasn’t happened yet. And then, they worry themselves to death. By assuming the worst, you aren’t going to help or make a situation right.
