Lookout for these signs

Being addicted to anything is not good for you. Being crazy in love with someone is good only up to a certain point where you are aware of your actions and words. Being blindly in love and addicted to someone will pave you a path full of thorns, hurt and pain. You start losing sense of who you are as a person. Here are some telltale signs you are in an addictive relationship.

2/6

Things are difficult for you

Nothing works smoothly in the relationship. You always face big hurdles and problems in your relationship that stops you from enjoying your time with your partner. But instead of analysing such problems, you dream of a better life, then it’s a sign that you are addicted to the relationship.

3/6

Highs and lows

One day you feel elated and on top of the world, while the next day you feel incredibly low. A constant change in highs and lows is a sign you’re in a relationship that is not stable or worthy. And continuing to be in it for longer isn’t going to change the fact that you shouldn’t be in such a relationship.

4/6

Thinking about the relationship

In an addictive relationship, you are prone to thinking about the relationship all the time. While subconsciously forfeiting everything about yourself, you will find yourself focusing only on your partner and the relationship. Nothing about ‘you’ will matter anymore.

5/6

Nothing feels right

You feel distant and confused most of the time. You lose track of who you are; you won’t feel yourself when you’re in an addictive relationship. This is because everything revolves around your partner and nothing about you. And so, you won’t feel right doing anything you want.

6/6

Self-esteem issues

You will find yourself immersed in self-esteem issues in such a relationship. You will question your motives, doubt your abilities and eventually even lose confidence within yourself.
