Look out for these signs

When your relationship begins to feel lonely, frustrating and full of red flags, it may be time to reevaluate your decision to be in such a relationship. If you have constant doubts flooding your mind about your partner, try to understand whether they are cheating or lying to you about something or the other. There may be a high chance your partner is a dishonest person. There may be some sure-shot signs that indicate you are dating a pathological liar.

2/7

They hide the smallest details

It may feel like you are unaware of the tiniest details in your partner’s life as they are quite successful in hiding the smallest details. Most of the time, you end up getting to know about your partner from other people.

3/7

They try to avoid confrontations

They will avoid confronting you at any cost. People who are pathological liars don’t speak up in situations where their mistakes or fault are on display. They will try to change the course of the situation and put the blame on you.

4/7

Their truths keep changing

They won’t stick to a single point of view. You will notice that their stories keep changing by the minute as they are trying to hide their faults by bringing up excuses or scenarios where it isn’t their fault at all.

5/7

They can’t be depended upon

You will find that you can’t depend on your partner at all and when situations occur when you need their support, they disappear leaving you hanging. A partner should be able to stand by you and help you in your most difficult times. A liar will only try to cover their tracks as to why they weren’t able to help you.

6/7

They tell other people’s stories as their own

If your partner is quite obsessed with telling other people’s stories as their own, then it is a major sign you are dating a pathological liar. It may seem harmless at first but your partner presenting a different version of themselves isn’t healthy at all.

7/7

They are manipulative

Your partner is a pathological liar if they use manipulative techniques to lure you in to say ‘yes’ to certain things. They will try to make you feel bad or even blackmail you to do things for them. They will try to make you look like the bad guy in the relationship.
