Reasons why you are being rejected all the time

Know the reasons why!

Repeatedly facing rejection in all aspects of your life can be incredibly demotivating and scary. Facing rejection in your relationships and in career opportunities can send you spiralling down a path where you hope seems like a distant future. A straight-up ‘no’ or ‘I can not do this’ is a bitter form of rejection that can be hard to shake off. However, the question is, why have you been facing rejection often?

There may be some underlying reasons why you are becoming too familiar with rejections. Let’s decode the possible reasons.

2/5

Childhood trauma

Facing rejection in your childhood can conjure up strong feelings that are related to negativity, frustration and anger. Having a parent who inflicts emotional or physical damage on you can harm you in ways you can’t even imagine; the foremost one being, your inability to trust or form strong relationships. The trauma that you have faced in childhood can be triggered by the present-day rejection.

3/5

Low self-esteem

Very low self-esteem can be a major reason why you are getting rejected always. When you lack confidence, which is required in almost all aspects of life, you are not allowing yourself to grow. You also allow others to pull you down and strip you of your opportunities.

4/5

Negative values

When negative core beliefs and values are embedded in your mind, right from your childhood, you stop seeking a positive mindset that will help you gain a successful stance in your relationships and career. When you have negative values hoarding your mind, you will stop helping or being kind to others, and thus, rejection comes in.

5/5

Personality disorder

Borderline personality disorders or childhood abandonment issues can be a big reason why you may face rejection often. Lack of understanding from other people about your disorder may make it difficult for you to blend in. Others might view your behaviour as unusual or weird, and hence, they may not feel comfortable including you within their circle.
