Ace tennis star Serena Williams got married to Alexis Ohanian in 2017 in a grand wedding. And, Serena wore a beautiful wedding gown worth $3.5 million on her big day! Her Alexander McQueen dress was designed by Sarah Burton— and this was one of the three dresses she wore for her wedding festivities.

UK's late Queen Elizabeth II got married to Prince Philip in 1947. For her wedding, she wore a beautiful wedding gown with long-sleeves, floral embroidery, with appliqués made of crystal and pearl. Her wedding gown was designed by Norman Hartnell, and it costed $42,000 back then which is roughly $1.6 million today!

The heiress of Swarovski jewelry, Victoria Swarovski, got married to Werner Mürz in 2017. For her wedding, she wore a Michael Cinco's custom-made gown which had roughly 500,000 crystals. Her look was completed with a 26-foot-long veil, and her wedding dresses is said to be worth $1 million, as per reports.
However, Victoria Swarovski and Werner Mürz's wedding didn't last the test of time and the couple parted ways in 2023.

Isha Ambani, the daughter of India's richest person- Mukesh Ambani- got married to Anand Piramal in a grand wedding in 2018. For her wedding day, Isha wore a stunning gold lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. To add a personal touch, the lehenga also had her mother Nita Ambani's wedding saree incorporated in it. As per reports, Isha Ambani Piramal's wedding lehenga costed roughly $1.08 million (i.e. INR 90 crores) and it is currently put on display at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai.

"The world’s most expensive wedding dress was especially created for the Luxury Brands Lifestyle Bridal Show held on 26 February 2006 at The Ritz-Carlton on Rodeo Drive in Marina del Rey, California, USA. A joint effort by Martin Katz Jewellers and Renee Strauss, a bridal couture designer, the $12 million wedding gown is bedecked with 150 carats’ worth of diamonds," reads a statement on the Guinness Book of World Records' website.

A stunning wedding gown made of a transparent material, and 50,890 Swarovski crystals broke the world record in 2023 for becoming the a bridal outfit with the most crystals on it. As per the Guinness World Records, this stunning outfit was debuted at the Si Sposaitalia Collezioni fashion show in Milan on April 14, 2023. It took four months and 200 hours of labour to prepare the dress, which has a sweetheart neckline. Even the gloves that go with the gown are covered with jewels! While this might not be the most expensive wedding gown, but it surely is one of the most iconic ones in the world.

Kim Kardashian married Kanye West in 2014. For her wedding, Kim wore a Givenchy gown which was handcrafted and it costed $500,000! The dress looked elegant with long sleeves and lace detailing. Their wedding was held at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on May 24, 2014. However, Kim and Kanye parted ways in March 2022.
