Did you know these facts?

What are dreams? Why do we experience haunted dreams? Do you know who the characters in our dream are? Many believe that dreams show visuals of our past life. Dreams can be truly absurd with no logic behind them in terms of visuals. Here is the answer to all your questions, the mysteries behind dreams. Scroll down to know some interesting facts about dreams.

Relation between dream characters and astrological facts

People usually see different characters or figures of humans and experience certain desirable or completely unwanted and surprising situations with them, in their dreams. The characters can be known or unknown in one’s personal life. The characters are often generated in our dreams due to any kind of stress, unusual desires, or unfinished business we might have with those people in reality or illusive thoughts.

For instance, if someone dreams of their mother, as per astrology, the person lacks that nurturing so many long for. They need comfort and care in their life, which we usually get from our mothers to fight through their problems. It also determines that the person is going through a quite tough time and needs nurture and compassion from their mother or a motherly figure.

Another instance is that when someone sees their partner in their dreams with whom they share a romantic connection, it is said that for females, the partner may surprise her with a proposal or a lifetime commitment. However, if a male sees his female partner in his dreams, it is not a good sign in astrology as the relationship might experience emotional turmoil in the future.

Deja Vu in dream cycle and its astrological facts

Deja Vu is a French word that means “ already seen”. It is about experiencing a situation that feels like we have already experienced before. In occult sciences, deja vu directly connects us with our past life. If a person has experienced some kind of traumatic or maybe a soothing incident in his past life with someone, and those unusual incidents appear in his dreams repeatedly, then such dreams are called deja vu.

Deja Vu also determines experiencing a situation one has already seen in their dreams. For instance, if a guy sees a girl with whom he starts feeling a strong psychic connection and gets flashbacks of unusual memories, that girl must have been his love interest in a past life. However, the proving of deja vu in science is quite controversial.

Hidden facts of Sigmund Freud’s book “ Interpretation of Dreams” and its relation to human psychology

According to Sigmund Freud, a famous psychoanalyst, our mind is like an iceberg. Around 20% of our mind belongs to the conscious, and the rest 80% belongs to the unconscious and intelligent state. Our thoughts, opinions, ethics, etc, persist in the conscious mind. The preconscious mind is where our memories are stored. These two always remain active when we are awake.

On the contrary, the unconscious mind becomes active while sleeping, and the conscious and preconscious mind becomes inactive during that time. The unconscious mind is where our irrational thoughts, immoral and absurd urges, unacceptable sexual desires, selfish wishes, shameful experiences, et cetera, are all stored. Therefore, while we sleep, these unwanted thoughts appear to us as dreams.

NOTE: If the dreams you get are related to your past traumas, please consult a psychologist for counseling or opt for trauma-focused psychotherapy.
