5 women share why they had extramarital affairs

Let's see what these women have to say!

When people cheat, it is mostly out of anger, resentment or hatred. When nothing works right in a relationship or marriage anymore, people resort to finding love or getting their desires fulfilled by other people. As dishonest and untrustworthy as it seems, some people cheat when they want to have fun or do something exciting. But when it specifically comes to women, they mostly cheat due to some specific reasons. To substantiate more on this, here are 5 women who anonymously share why they engaged in extramarital affairs.

2/6

Early marriage

“I had an early marriage, at 24. I was reduced to being a wife who did all the work and then all I did was raise my kids. I never got time to myself. So, when I began focusing on myself a bit, it was like, the doors of a cage opened for me and there was a whole new world waiting for me out there. The fact that my husband is neither romantic nor caring didn’t help. So, I ended up finding pleasure with someone else, and it was fantastic.”

3/6

Suffocating and disruptive marriage

“My husband is a narcissist. He constantly criticises me and never even cares to make me happy even for a second. His degrading remarks make it difficult for me to be in a marriage with him. But the problem is that I can’t divorce him. Our families are tied up in such a way that this is unthinkable. And so, I had to look for my happiness elsewhere and I am sure to do that in a very secretive way.”

4/6

Growing resentment

“All my husband cares is about his parents. It’s like I have no stand in his life. It gets too much to bear at times. And it has been a long time since I have been resenting him. He never looks after me nor does he make any effort to do so. So, when someone showed interest in me, I melted right then and there. And thus, my affair began.”

5/6

Horrible sex

“The sex was horrible. That’s it. Even after countless tries and guiding my boyfriend through it all, he showed no improvement and just focused on his happy ending. So, I left the relationship because physical satisfaction is as important as emotional satisfaction to me.”

6/6

A boring relationship

“Our relationship had become too monotonous. All we did was sit down and watch TV together after work. No date nights, no presents, no surprise. There were no challenges in our relationship that would keep it exciting! I tried communicating my worries to him but he showed no interest. And so, eventually, I fell out of love. The only mistake I made is I cheated on him. But that helped me know that I didn’t love him anymore.”
