5 ways to rebuild a broken relationship

Here is how you mend it

Not all broken relationships should be worked on because some are or were too toxic. But, there are some bonds that you want back, people you do not want to lose. So, if you want to rebuild a certain broken relationship, here are 5 ways that you must try so that you do not regret anything later.

2/6

Initiate a polite dialogue

Initiate a conversation with your partner who is not talking much. You could always start with a simple “Hi”. If that person has blocked you, send an email and let them know who you are. Leave it at that and wait for a few hours or days for them to respond because broken relationships take time.

3/6

Build the bridge again

Okay so you both were on a different page of life and had many issues between you. Drop them and see your relationship from a different perspective. Bridge the gap between you both. Gert over the rifts, learn from the mistakes you made.

4/6

Brainstorm

Involve the person you want to mend your relationship with and let them know that you want to rebuild. Sit together and find a way to bridge the gap, the cracks. Yes they will be there but with time, even broken hearts heal. Ask that other person to bring whatever that bothered you, on the table so that you can work on it. Build the boundary line because that too is a reason why relationships break.

5/6

Apologise

Saying sorry never hurts and if you apologise for the pain you made your partner go through, will already lay a foundation for that bridge to rebuild. You must also forgive yourself for the past and move on if your partner is not interested in letting go of the past. But yes, apologise genuinely and do not repeat the mistakes you made otherwise it is of no use otherwise.

6/6

Think positive

If you want to mend a broken relationship and make it work for good then it all begins with a positive attitude. You must think positively and pass on those vibes to the partner you want to convince. When you have that confidence, you exude the same energy and your partner may take you up on the idea of trying things all over again.
