Signs someone has a crush on you

When it comes to finding out if someone secretly has a crush on you, psychology offers many cues based on people's behaviour and their subtle body language. From making prolonged eye contact to being more attentive to others, many such subtle signs reflect that someone likes you and has a deeper interest in you. Here we list some of them.

2/10

They make frequent eye contact

If you notice someone often looking at you and making eye contact with you it indicates that they find you attractive and have a crush on you. It could also be that they look at you and then look away instantly-- indicating that they like you but are too shy to initiate a conversation with you. If you too like this person, you can casually start a conversation with them and see how things go with them.

3/10

Their body language

If you think someone has a crush on you, then notice their body language. The person would have an open and welcoming body language like-- smiling at you, leaning in while talking to you, or subconsciously mirroring your gestures and way of speaking. This shows that they like you and while they might try to hide it, their body language speaks volumes about it.

4/10

They act nervous around you

Some people subconsciously act nervous around their crush. They want to make a good impression on their crush and so they are too conscious about themselves. So if you notice someone often being nervous in your presence, it might indicate that they like you. It also shows that they are too shy to approach you.

5/10

They give extra attention

When trying to give more attention to others whom they have a crush on. They find excuses to be near their crush, initiate conversations with them and give them extra attention making them feel special. They would often compliment you or laugh at your silly jokes in order to impress you. They would also text you often, trying to initiate a conversation with you.

6/10

They might act jealous of you

People who have a crush on you might get jealous when you talk to others or appreciate other people in front of them. This shows that they like you and might be subtly possessive about you too.

7/10

They make excuses to talk to you or meet you

Noticed someone always trying to initiate a conversation with you or making plans to catch up with you? Well, chances are that they secretly like you and so are finding excuses to spend more time with you. After all, its only after talking or meeting frequently that you both would get to know each other better, right?

8/10

They talk about you to their friends or family

If you happen to meet their friends or family or have common friends, you'll notice that they know about you. They'll mention how this specific person has often told them about you-- which indicates that she/ he likes you and speaks positively about you to others.

9/10

Their friends might act weird around you or tease them about you

If you notice people/friends teasing a certain person about you or when they speak to you, it might indicate that people must have noticed them acting different around you. It also shows that they might secretly like you.

10/10

You often catch them looking or smiling at you

People who like you might often look at you, and when you have an eye contact with them they might smile at you. These may be their subtle subconscious ways to initiate a conversation with you.
