Aishwarya Rai

The original 'Queen', Aishwarya Rai is not just known for her beauty and grace, but she is also much appreciated by people for the way she leads an inspiring and dignified life. As she turns a year older, here we list some relationship lessons to learn from Aishwarya Rai and lead a graceful life.

Family always comes first for her

Despite being a popular celebrity, Aishwarya has her priorities set right-- and it seems, that family always comes first for her. The way she is seen to be too protective of her mother Brindya Rai and daughter Aaradhya in public, or how she always conducted herself in a dignified manner when seen with the Bachchans earlier-- these moments of Aishwarya with her family always reflect how deeply family means for her. For Aishwarya, family always comes first and that's a lesson one can learn from her.

When silence is more powerful than words

For sometime now, Aishwarya is much in the news for her rumours of trouble in her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan. The rumours have only intensified over time, more so when Aishwarya and Aaradhya were not seen posing together with the Bachchans at the grand Ambani wedding in 2024. Adding fuel to the fire is the recent rumour of Abhishek Bachchan's alleged affair with fellow-actress Nimrat Kaur. However, Aishwarya has refrained from commenting on any of these rumours and she continues to comfortably live her life. Her dignified silence is more powerful than words, and we all can surely learn from this.

The sweet bond she shares with her daughter Aaradhya

Despite being a hugely famous actress-model and former Miss World, Aishwarya seems to be a hands-on mom to her daughter Aaradhya. Ever since Aaradhya was a little child, she is always seen accompanying her mom Aishwarya to major events. And their love and bond seems to have only grown stronger over the years. The mother-daughter bond is truly inspiring and heart-warming.

Speak-up for yourself, when needed

While Aishwarya prefers to maintain a dignified silence on matters close to her heart, she is also a woman of substance who knows to stand up for herself and her loved ones. Back in early 2000s, Aishwarya and Salman Khan started dating while shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', but their relationship soon turned sour and they parted ways in 2001. After their much-public breakup, Aishwarya had said in an interview that she ended her relationship with Salman after dealing with his alcoholism. As per reports, she had also revealed that she received verbal, physical, emotional abuse, infidelity, and indignity all of which eventually lead to the breakdown of their relationship.
While it is heart-breaking to know the pain she had to endure, it all shows her courage to stand up for herself and lead a dignified life.

Stay humble and warm in your connections

While she might be famous worldwide for being a former Miss World and actress, Aishwarya Rai seems to lead a simple life like many of us. She also seems to have warm bonds with her family, and her social media profile is proof of it. For instance, a recent picture she share of her family get-together with her mom's side of the family where both Aishwarya and Aaradhya are seen dressed very simply gives a glimpse of her warm family connections, despite being a celebrity. It teaches one to stay humble in all aspects of our lives-- including our personal equations with family, friends, and extended family.
