These celebrities managed to keep their pregnancy under wraps

While celebrities are always used to living life in the limelight, there are some personal moments everybody wants to keep safe and guarded. We are sure you have heard of secret weddings, children kept away from the paparazzi but did you know, there are some who managed to sneak their pregnancy away from the public? Mindy Kaling

Actress, comedienne turned author, Mindy Kaling welcomed her second child, a boy who has been named Spencer in the month of September. While the actress was proactive through the lockdown on social media, she managed to hide her pregnancy rather successfully. She announced the happy news on a television interview, also sharing details of her 'scary' pandemic pregnancy.

The actress is also mother to a girl, Katherine. The identity of both of her children's fathers has been kept private.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas

Celebrity couple Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas who surprised fans with an impromptu wedding also managed to keep news about them expecting a baby private. While the couple welcomed their first child, a girl named Willa in July, the news only broke a week after the child's birth.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott

Influential celebrity and reality television star Kylie Jenner broke the internet when she announced the news about welcoming Stormi a couple of years back. The multi-millionaire was only 21 when she had her first child. Revealing the big news, Kylie clarified that pregnancy was one thing she did not want to be kept in front of the world. Considering how social media-friendly Kylie and her family are, she managed to be MIA for all of nine months, before making a big birth announcement and a video.

Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol

Actress Amrita Rao just gave birth to her first child, a boy with husband RJ Anmol. The couple managed to keep her pregnancy hidden for almost all of the nine months. The couple only took to social media last month, to share the good news. Taking to Instagram, Amrita wrote: "For you, it's the 10th month... But for us, it's the 9th. Surprise surprise... Anmol and I are in our 9th month already. Too excited to share this good news with you my fans and friends (sorry had to keep it tucked in my belly all this long) but it's true. The baby is coming soon. An exciting journey for me, Anmol and our families... thank you universe and thank you all. Keep blessing." Interestingly, the actress also said that without having to keep it a secret, a lot of her friends couldn't spot the growing baby belly!

Gul Panag and Rishi Attari

Former beauty queen, actress and professionally trained pilot, Gul Panag is also a mother to one. However, Gul and her husband, fellow pilot Rishi Attari managed to keep the good news under wraps for six months after the birth! The couple welcomed their baby boy in 2018. Revealing the reason behind keeping Nihal's birth a secret, Gul said in an earlier interview: “Rishi and I have always valued our privacy. Becoming parents is a special experience and we decided that we’d like to go through it without the distraction of public attention.

Asin Thottumkal and Rahul Sharma

While actress Asin and businessman Rahul Sharma's wedding was an elaborate public event, the couple decided to keep news about their pregnancy completely private. It was only after nine months that the couple announced the news about welcoming their first child, a daughter in October 2017. The couple also managed to keep her name, Arin hidden, revealing it only on her first birthday!

Cardi B and Offset

News about popular rapper Cardi B expecting a baby took fans by surprise. The singer took to Instagram to announce the happy news, while she was in her seventh month but deleted it soon after. Later, she put up another post explaining her reasons to delay the announcement, citing that some people like to “destroy” things that are supposed to be good. Her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus only made an appearance on social media much later, since the couple was worried about getting mean comments.
