​IPL final match on May 26​


On May 26, Sunday, Kolkata Knight Riders and SunRisers Hyderabad will play against each other at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Shreyas Iyer will lead the team of KKR, Pat Cummins will lead the SRH team. The match is expected to commence 7.30pm onwards. Before the match commences, let's learn about the educational qualification of the cricketers of both the teams.

​Shreyas Iyer​


Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer was born in 1994. The 29 year old Mumbai born cricketer has been educated at Don Bosco High School, Matunga and Ramniranjan Anandilal Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He was trained for cricket at the age of 18.

​Pat Cummins​


Australian cricketer, Pat Cummins has been educated at St Paul's Grammar School. The Sydney born cricketer idolized Brett Lee from childhood.

​Mayank Agarwal​


1991 born cricketer Mayank Agarwal had debuted in IPL in 2011. He studied at the Bishop Cotton Boys' School and Jain University in Bangalore. He was in the same class of KL Rahul.

​Bhuvneshwar Kumar​



Though much is not known about the UP born cricketer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar had revealed in an interview that it was his sister who encouraged to make a career in cricket. “I had interest in cricket ever since I was young. It was my sister Rekha, seven years older than, who took me to the stadium for the first time. At that time I was 13. The stadium was about 7 to 8 kilometres away from our residence, so it was she who used to take me to the stadium initially. Soon I learnt the route from home to the stadium and started heading out on my own," he had revealed in an interview with Indian Express.

​Upendra Yadav​


The 27 year old cricketer grew up in Kanpur. A science graduate, Yadav started getting trained for cricket at the age of 12. At the age of 14, he moved to Kamala Cricket Academy to be coached by former Uttar Pradesh captain Sashikant Khandekar.

​Manish Pandey​


Nainital's Manish Pandey is a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya. His father was in Indian army which led to frequent relocations. He joined the Karnataka State Cricket Association from a young age.

​Srikar Bharat​


30 year old cricketer from Vishakhapatnam, Srikar Bharat studied at the St. Aloysius High School. He is a commerce graduate and has graduated from Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College with a BCom degree.

​Varun Chakravarthy​


He completed his schooling in Chennai at Kendriya Vidyalaya CLRI and St. Patrick's Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, where he played cricket. He earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from SRM University. At 25, he left his job as an architect to pursue cricket professionally.
