Tips to place your almirah at home, as per Vastu

An almirah plays a significant role in the flow of energies in your home. From placing cash to hanging your daily wear clothes, it impacts the positive and negative vibrations of the person. Almirah is one of the big pieces of furniture that takes a lot of space and affects the house's décor and so, it is vital to place the almirah correctly in all possible ways. Vastu allows you to know the correct size and helps you to put the almirah in the right direction for money-related matters and harmonious existence. Here are few tips to place almirahs at your home.

2/7

Proper materials

If you are purchasing an almirah, don't opt for one made with stones or marbles. These almirahs may seem eye-pleasing but aren't suitable for your home. Go for wooden or iron almirahs to make a good and sustainable choice. Wood often observes the negative energies in your home.

3/7

Direction

The direction of any furniture plays an essential role in the Vastu. Even the placement of your almirah can impact the money flow and the fortune of your members and you. Always place your almirahs in the Southwest direction and face it in the North or East direction.

4/7

Direction in bedroom

Always place the almirah in the Northeast or Southwest corner while placing one in the bedroom. If you are putting an almirah in the bedroom, don't opt for mirrors in or around it. Make sure the almirah doesn't face your bed. The direction to open the door of the almirah should be East and South. Go for light colour panels and shelves for the almirah in the bedroom.

5/7

Colour choices

The colour of your almirah should go with the hues on your walls. However, keep this in mind while choosing a colour that can impact the health and wealth of the person. Your almirahs should be painted in light colours like white, soft blue, green, pastels, and cream.

6/7

Placing mirrors

If you decide to place a mirror near or in the almirah, make sure you don't put it in the Southwest direction of the almirah. The mirror may reflect the negative energies in place of positive ones.

7/7

Money storage

Many of us keep our valuables and cash in the almirahs. Make sure the cash almirah has a single door. Place your locker or cash almirah in the North direction paying tribute to Lord Kuber. Never place lockers or cash almirahs in the Northeast direction as it will lead to losses and cash clashes.
