7 best places to hang a mirror, according to Vastu

Mirrors add a sophisticated yet fancy touch to your house. The culture of decorating your home with different mirrors has been around for ages. Adding a mirror makes your home look spacious and adds beauty with its curvaceous borders. However, there are few Vastu tips one should follow to place mirrors in different locations. The location of the mirror can impact not only the interiors but also the energy of the house.

Here are a few places you can hang your favorite piece of mirror, in sync with vastu-

2/8

Bedroom decor

You don't want to run to your bathroom every time you are popping a pimple. A long bedroom mirror is a must-have for most people. It can be placed on an empty wall, adding an elegant look plus serving a purpose. However, make sure your body parts don't reflect on the mirror while sleeping, as suggested by Vastu experts. Instead, place a mirror where you can stand or sit freely to look at oneself thoroughly.

3/8

Bathroom

This is a prominent place to place your mirror. Well, it does get clouded while you enjoy a hot water shower, but you cannot see your beautiful self while brushing your teeth if it isn't there. Don't forget to light up the corners of the mirrors; it isn't considered auspicious to have them in a dark place. If you can place the mirror on the North or East wall, it will benefit you as per Vastu. It is generally placed above the sink; however, try adding a magnifying mirror at the side to help you apply lipstick better.

4/8

On a table, while you vibe

If you love the lavender fragrance of the candle and the aura it creates, try putting a mirror behind the table you light your candles on. It will make the light more luminous and provide an illusion of more candles to help you vibe better. But remember to place the mirrors that reflect light on the East or North wall to prosper positive energy.

5/8

Front door

Does the last-minute check-up always land you in trouble? Well, placing a mirror in front or near the main front door can be a good idea. It can be of any design and color to match your interior and provide a touch of sophistication. A small table or shelf can be a good partner with flowers or photo frames on them. It will also accumulate all the negative energy entering your home. Go for a square or rectangle mirror while thinking of a mirror near your front door, as per the Vastu experts.

6/8

Long boring hallway

A long hallway from the main door can look a little scary if there isn't any décor up there. Placing mirrors of different shapes and sizes will spice up the long boring hallway and provide a perfect spot to click pictures. However, remember to place more mirrors on your hallway's North or East wall to reflect more positive energy.

7/8

Your WFH desk

If you have a study attached to a wall, you might consider hanging a vintage or minimalistic design mirror there. It will help reflect your positive energy while working and adding productivity to work. It will also add a touch of spice and make you feel comfortable as you work. You will also know how you look while entering a zoom call.

8/8

Kid's room

Children love to watch themselves in a mirror, and if they have room, then it is the best place to hang a mirror. Even infants love to see their reflection in the mirror. A mirror with cartoon characters or animals can keep them hooked while you change their clothes. However, make sure the mirror is at the eye level of your kid. Place the mirrors on the North wall to maintain the positive energy in the room.
