Lotus is considered a symbol of wealth and divine energy. It is considered a powerful flower that symbolizes abundance as Goddess Laxmi loves this flower, as per Hindu philosophy. It is suggested to grow lotus in a pond in the north or northeast direction, which is considered the direction of luck and prosperity.
