Woman reveals ‘life changing’ diet pattern that helped her lose 7 kgs in 2 months
If you are looking forward to losing a certain amount of weight, you must have taken advice and recommendations from social media, atleast once. The internet is flooded with weight loss tips and tricks. However, the trick lies in finding the right information.
One such post is that of Leana, an athlete who has a good fan following on social media. In one of her posts, Leana talks about how eating pattern can contribute a lot to weight loss.
"When people talk about losing fat, they tend to say « eat less » less what? Food or calories ? Because there is literally a LIFE CHANGING difference between both," she begins her post.
She goes on to explain: It sounds simple, but if you want to have control over your weight you have to understand that not all foods are equal in calories. You could eat a large volume of low-calorie foods (like vegetables) and feel full, while still maintaining a calorie deficit because the total calories are low. You could eat a lot of carbs and still lose fat. It’s about how you manage your calories. So, the goal isn’t to eat less food, but rather to make calorie-smart choices that let you feel satisfied without overshooting your calorie needs.

"If you want to look lean don't eat less food, eat less calories. Knowing the difference will change your life," she has captioned the informative video.
In another video, she had revealed: "I lost 7 kg in my 2-month cut, and my belly fat finally disappeared after years of struggling — I ate 4/5 times a day and didn’t feel frustrated at all during the process. That was one of the best fitness experiences I’ve ever had because I knew exactly how to handle it. Some people are shocked by the results, but the truth is, IT’S POSSIBLE. Actually, everything is possible. I just wanted it so badly that I made it a priority. Discipline can take you to incredible places, and the results you can achieve with it are beyond what you imagine. All it takes is commitment and consistency. It’s a long journey because you have to build muscle and then lose fat, but it's 100 percent worth it, and the cut doesn’t last that long. From 2 to 8 weeks, you can achieve amazing results, get rid of belly fat and reveal your muscles."
Low-calorie foods are nutrient-dense options that contain minimal calories, making them ideal for weight management. These foods allow for larger portions without a high calorie count, supporting balanced nutrition while aiding in calorie control. Low-calorie foods are effective in maintaining a healthy diet and preventing overeating.
Common low-calorie foods in Indian diets include a variety of vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins. Leafy greens like spinach (palak), fenugreek (methi), and bottle gourd (lauki) are low in calories yet nutrient-rich. Cucumbers, radishes, and tomatoes are refreshing, filling options with minimal calories. Fruits like watermelon, papaya, and guava offer natural sweetness with fiber to aid digestion. Lentils (dal), chickpeas, and sprouts are excellent plant-based proteins that are filling without being high-calorie. Low-fat curd (dahi) and buttermilk (chaas) are also popular, low-calorie options that add protein and probiotics to meals, supporting a balanced, weight-friendly diet.
