Weight loss journeys are characterized by impeccably planned workout regimes, a well-planned out diet and other little lifestyle changes that have significant benefits for the body. Most people who wish to lose weight tend to cut out carbs, especially limiting the consumption of rice. While most of us have chapatis, a lot of people have rice as their staple diet and cutting them out of everyday meals becomes a challenge for them. It is however, not an issue to worry about. For those who are looking to lose weight, it would be a difficult decision to choose between the two for both the types contain the same amount of carbohydrates and proteins. It is important to note that even though both the varieties of rice are excellent sources of fiber and are also nutritionally rich with low contents of carbohydrates as compared to white rice, the quantity to be consumed should always be carefully monitored for eating too much of it would inevitably increase the amount of carbohydrate consumed and can be fattening. You can alternate between the two varieties and consume one on each day, while being mindful of the quantity that you’re consuming.
