This training method is becoming the recommended choice for cardiovascular exercises. It’s better because studies have shown that short bursts of running are more efficient than long walks or jogs.

Fitness expert, Kamal Chhikara will take you through sprint training while explaining about the workout in detail. Tip- Sprint workout is typically done on resistance bike.- It can also be done on any equipment that allows a rapid change in the speed, like rowing or cross-trainer.- You have to perform the exercise for a total of 20 minutes, in which you will sprint for 8 minutes and 12 minutes will be the active rest (where you don’t stop but slow down). - 60 repetitions of 8 seconds’ sprint with maximum effort interspersed with 12 seconds of active rest (slowing down but not stopping) after every 8 seconds.- If you do not work out regularly, perform the exercise under an expert’s supervision.
