Wide array of seafood served at the 81st Golden Globe Awards
With the announcement of the 81st Golden Globe Awards, everyone is going gaga over the winners. Of all the winners, Oppenheimer has bagged the most number of awards, as many as 5, including the Best Motion Picture Drama. While these prestigious awards often make news for their red carpet, it’s the food menu that always ends up taking the centre stage every year. Defining luxury at its best, popular Celebrity Japanese Chef Nobu Matsuhisa planned an array of seafood dishes and sides for the 81st Golden Globe Awards.

The official Insta page of Golden Globe Awards dropped details about the food spread at the coveted award show.,“For the first time ever, we’ve partnered with @noburestaurants to construct a unique culinary experience for this year's Golden Globe Awards! Curated by world-renowned Chef @therealnobu, guests of the 81st #GoldenGlobes will enjoy an exclusive menu featuring a selection of his signature dishes including Salmon Tartar with Caviar in Wasabi Soy, Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing, Yellowtail Jalapeno, Black Cod Miso, a trio of assorted Traditional Nigiri and more.” That's not all, for all the guests, a special kind of sparkling natural spring water named Saratoga was served. Salmon Tartar with Caviar in Wasabi Soy
This delectable culinary creation combines two luxurious ingredients - chopped up salmon and caviar - to create a dish that is truly special. The salmon tartare is a popular appetizer that can be enjoyed as a light meal or served as a snack. The caviar adds a unique and delicious flavour to the dish, making it a must-have for any special occasion. This dish provides a great source of protein, healthy fats, and fibre.
Jalapeno Yellowtail

Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing
Matshuhisa Dressing, concocted by the chef, consists of minced onion, soy sauce, rice vinegar, grapeseed oil, sesame oil, sugar, and a mixture of spices, such as salt, pepper, and powdered mustard. This dressing is poured over a bed of salad greens topped with tuna filet.
Assorted traditional Nigiri
The guests also enjoyed three different types of Nigiri, which is a type of sushi where raw fish is placed on a bed of rice. The trio of Tai Matsuhisa (red seabream), Salmon and Tuna Nigiri sushi were served with the sweet nikiri soy sauce.
Black Cod Miso
This fish preparation includes a marinated black cod filet cooked with a special miso marinade. The delicious fish is often served with a side of steamed rice or vegetables. The thought of having miso's sweet, rich flavour coupled with black cod will make you want more of it.

For the drinks, the guests enjoyed the Imperial Brut variety of Moet & Chandon champagne.
