Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always been vocal about local foods and is often seen interacting with Indian nutritionists and food experts. Recently PM Modi's team approached celebrity nutritionist Luke Coutinho to prepare meal options for the honourable PM. In a post on his official website titled Made in India- The Modi Diet and Lifestyle Plan, Luke wrote, "We were asked to curate and design a special dish for our Honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Ji, based on his favorite foods and superfoods, along with a special Modi Ji lunch and dinner menu centered around Indian superfoods to make it holistic, nutritious, and powerful. I was also requested to design key Modi Ji lifestyle tips—not just for our Honorable Prime Minister, but for our nation and the world." Thanking his team he added, "I am deeply grateful to this pilot team—who are also part of my amazing Team Luke—for working alongside me to make this happen for our Honorable Prime Minister, for India, and for our people. By the time you read this and, hopefully, implement it (which I truly hope you will), I would have already had the honor of presenting it to our Prime Minister." According to Luke's post, the elaborate and nutritiou meal plan was prepared by him along with Natashya Phillips, Gautam Kapadi, Narendra Firodia, Natasha Joseph, Shimpli Patil, Charmi Gogri, Charmi Gala, Deepika Rathod, Sneha Shah, Priyanka Vithlani, Ankita Nair, Mallika Margaj, Pooja Melwani, Taarika Dave, Mallika Margaj, Pooja Melwani, Jovita Aranha, Ishwarya Lakshmi, Sangeeta Sharma, Samantha Gregory, Anand Sawant, and Ankur Singh.
