Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and there is no debate about it. Being the first meal of the day, a good breakfast can make your day. However, as humans, there are different things that satisfy our food needs because of our varied cultures. For instance, pancakes and fruits for breakfast might sound just the best possible breakfast option for someone but, on the other hand, a good serving of latte with a simple bread toast does the deed for another. Similarly, breakfast around the world is extremely varied and here are 10 countries that prove it.

United Kingdom

A traditional English breakfast includes a wholesome plate of bacon, eggs, sausages and bread toasts along with some freshly made tea. It is said that these items were included in the breakfast because people had cold, long days ahead of them to survive.

The Spanish like to start their day on a sweet note. Freshly made churros coated with ground sugar and dipped in chocolate are savoured by the people of Spain other than various kinds of fruit jams and freshly baked buns.

Kaya toast is the national bread breakfast that is enjoyed all over Singapore along with some soft-cooked eggs topped with a generous cube of butter.

Much like the Italians, the people in New-Zealand like to enjoy a light, continental breakfast consisting of fruit juices, toasted bread topped with butter and cereals.

The Jamaicans like to begin their day on a healthy note by having Ackee and Saltfish. Ackee is also the national fruit of Jamaica, however, both the ingredients are not indigenous to the land.

A delicious German breakfast is likely to keep you full at least until lunch.
